We are a registered Scottish charity, and our aim is to promote the craft of dry stone walling in the community. We do this by developing partnerships with community organisations. We design and build dry stone features which will enhance the community environment, and provide a showcase for dry stone walling. Project proposals and ideas are welcomed which fit with these aims, and can be put forward to the branch committee at any time.
Please note we are a charity and do not undertake commercial work, all demonstrations and training events undertaken must be for the benefit of the community and promote the aims of the charity.
Our community projects have included:-
Herb Garden at the village school in Buchlyvie
Wall and Seat at Greenock Cut
Garden Feature at Lambhill stables
Seat at Muirshiel Park built by international volunteers
Feature wall and bell at Ocean Terminal Greenock
